Aujourd’hui en France, de nombreux avortements sont pratiqués. Quelque en soient les raisons qui poussent les femmes à avorter, l’infirmière a pour rôle de les accompagner. Suivant le contexte, elle peut ressentir des émotions qui peuvent influencer son accompagnement auprès de la patiente.

Ce travail interroge l’influence des émotions de l’infirmière sur son accompagnement auprès d’une patiente hospitalisée pour une IVG.

Trois concepts ont été développés : l’IVG, les émotions, l’accompagnement. Ils permettent une approche théorique et sont recherchés dans différents champs : infirmier, législatif, social.

Pour confronter la théorique à la pratique, deux entretiens ont été menés auprès de deux infirmières exerçant en chirurgieambulatoire. Cela permet d’obtenir une approche qualitative.

Après la confrontation de ces deux étapes de travail, des nouvelles perspectives en ont été tirées pour permettre une ouverture sur un autre sujet.

Today in France, many abortions are performed. Whatever the reasons that push women to have an abortion, the nurse’s role is to support them. Depending on the context, the nurse may feel emotions that may influence the accompaniment of the patient.

This work exemines the influence of the nurse’s emotions on her accompaniment of a patient hospitalized for an abortion.

To compare the theory to practice, two interviews were conducted with two nurses working in outpatient surgery. This provides a qualitative approach.

After comparing these two stages of work, new perspectives were drawn from them to allow an opening on another subject.
